The Scottish Field Trials Association held it Open stake for pointers and setters on Burncastle Estate
on Wednesday August 7, 2024 by kind permission of the Duke of Northumberland and his Headkeeper
Craig Dickman.
The judges were Mr Wilson Young and Mrs Gwenda Dale. First was Mr and Mrs
Steve Lound’s pointer bitch Fowington Jesse of Fleetstalk. Second was Steve Robinson’s ISD
Bownard Everest. Third was Mr L. Hilds pointer FT CH Gerensary Pinot. Fourth was Howard Kirby’s
pointer FT CH SparkfieldSteel of Mullenscott. COMs were awarded to Lester Anderson’s pointer
Fowington Harris and Steve Robinson’s ISB FT CH Coldcoats My Newt.
